You had a good call. Somewhere in it you explained the thing better than you have ever written it, the client said the number out loud, and you took a position you would happily defend in public. Then the call ended. Four people heard it. By Thursday you could not reconstruct the sentence, and on Sunday you sat down to write a post from nothing.
Nobody has ever reread a meeting summary
The notetaker category is five years into solving one problem: what was decided. It solved it. There are excellent tools that will hand you a summary, action items and a searchable archive of every call you have ever taken, and you will open roughly none of it again.
That was never the expensive loss. The expensive loss is that the sharpest version of your thinking happens out loud, in a room with four people in it, and then has nowhere to go. You are not short of things to say. You are short of a way to catch them.
So this one is built backwards. It does not try to record what the meeting concluded. It listens for the three things that are publishable, keeps those, and drops the rest.

Monday, the posts are already written from it.
The call feeds the same weekly digest as everything else you put in. You read what came back, change a line if you want to, and approve.
Leave the time empty to join right away, or set it for a call up to 30 days out.
It cannot listen quietly, and that is deliberate
The notetaker joins under your name, visible to everyone in the call, and it only ever joins a meeting you sent it to. If the host declines, it leaves and tells you why.

Six per call is the cap, and both calls hit it. These are our own two calls. The notetaker is new, we have run about half an hour of meetings through it, and we would rather show you that than a number we made up.
It cannot quote you saying something you did not say
When the notetaker pulls a line out of your call, that line is checked against the transcript as text before it is kept. If the quote is not literally in the transcript, it is thrown away. Not flagged for review, not scored for confidence. Discarded by string comparison.
This is the difference between a tool that summarises your call and a tool you would let write in your name.
What it will not do
The limits, stated plainly, so you can decide before you sign up.
It will not give you meeting notes.
No summary, no action items, no searchable archive of every call. It keeps what is publishable and drops the rest. If what you need is minutes, this is the wrong tool and we would rather you knew now.
It cannot join quietly.
It appears as a participant with your name on it. If the host declines recording, or leaves it in the waiting room, it gives up and tells you why.
Zoom is not live yet.
Meet, Teams and Webex work today. Zoom needs Marketplace approval we do not have, so a Zoom link will fail. We would rather say that here than let you find out on the call.
Online meetings only.
It needs a link to join. A coffee with a client is not something it can attend, and there is no audio upload on this path.
It only joins meetings you send it to.
There is no mode where it silently attends everything on your calendar.
Three hours per meeting, maximum.
After that it leaves on its own.

The month meter resets on the 1st. It is a real cost per minute, so we cap it rather than sell you unlimited and quietly throttle.

Which meeting platforms does it work with?+
Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Webex today. Zoom support is waiting on Marketplace approval, so a Zoom link will not work yet.
Will everyone on the call know it is there?+
Yes. It joins as a participant named after you, and it appears in the list like anyone else. It cannot record without being seen, by design. If the host declines, it leaves and tells you why.
Does it give me meeting notes and action items?+
No, and that is on purpose. It keeps the stories, numbers and opinions that could become posts, and discards the rest. If you need minutes and a task list, this is not the tool for that job.
How many meetings do I get?+
Your 14-day trial includes 2 meetings. Pro includes 10 hours of meetings a month, and the meter resets on the 1st. Any single meeting is capped at three hours.
Can it join my calendar meetings automatically?+
Automatic calendar joining is in limited release while our Google verification is in review. Everyone can send the notetaker to any meeting today by pasting the link, and it can be scheduled up to a month ahead.
What happens to the recording afterwards?+
The transcript becomes material in your account, and what the notetaker keeps from it goes into your brand memory, where next Monday drafts are written from. Nothing is published without your approval.
